It was observed since 1960’s by US Congress after which other countries also adopted this event with different names due to cultural differences among them (i) Canada celebrates ‘Canada Day’ on July 1st each year;(ii) Argentina celebrates ‘Día de Mujeres’ (Day Of Women);(iii) Mexico celebrates ‘Día Internacional del Niño’ (International Boy’s Day).

I think that Mother’s Day is an occasion when we should remember our mothers and show them our love and respect. It would be an honor if all moms celebrated Mother’s Day every year just like I do now every year!
